Yeah, I know it. I promised timely posts and all, but I've realized that that just isn't us. Sooooo, here is a wedding we did WAY earlier this year and I'm going to try to catch up on the back log. In all seriousness though; we really have been fortunate to work with some great humans over the course of the year and we're excited to share some images from this wedding!

Take a look-see at a recent engagement shoot what we did. I'm a fan of engagement/couples sessions if not only for the fact that we can just slow down and spend the time creating uninterrupted. I've also always had a passion for film. I learned on film, but digital photography has been what our business has been carried by. But, this year I've challenged myself to shoot more and more on film. Not really for anyone else other than me, but all that to say that there are some film images included below. Enjoy!

We've had quite the break from shooting since we wrapped up our wedding season last October. The break itself was much needed and we kind of feel as if we've not stopped being on "the go." Between the birth of our 3rd kiddo, whom you've seen a ton of if you follow us on Instagram, and a bathroom reno we've kept ourselves occupied.
We didn't realize how much we missed being with our couple to photography their wedding day. That being said, I had a blast with Jess+Nick. For the record, low-key weddings are awesome. We had a ton of time to work slowly, and find the light and just have fun. We laughed a bunch, we talked just as much, and by the end of the evening I felt as if we'd been friends for a long long time!
Every time I tell myself that we're going to do a better job of posting current professional and personal work; I forget as soon as the thought enters my head...This is something I want to be better at so that YOU can get a deeper look at who we are.
A lot has happened over the winter. We've hada break from "work" that has allowed us to catch up and breath a little bit. In that time we welcomed our baby boy Kais to this world.
He was literally about 12 hours old in this photo. He's been the definition of chill baby. Hardly cries, sleeps almost all the way through the night. We have so much love for this kid already it's pretty much awesome. His sibs love him too.
In the middle of all of THAT craziness of figuring out life with a newborn....again. We decided it was a good time for a master bathroom complete gut and remodel. That post for another day.
